Caley Construction Ltd were appointed by East Renfrewshire Council as Principal Contractor to deliver the Rouken Glen Park Project in Giffnock, Glasgow
The project was and extension of the Glen Path in Rouken Glen Park including 600m of the whin, asphalt and boardwalk paths, 2 new bridges. The route of the new path network was largely cleared of trees, however, there was some difficult terrain and the route involved crossing Auldhouse Burn twice to complete: Un-edged Whindust Surfaced Paths; Asphalt Surfaced Paths & Concrete Edgings; Oak Decking Boardwalks with Handrails; Oak Step and Handrails; Oak Handrails to Lade Walls; Repair and Renewal of former Sluice; Soft Landscaping & Soiling; Random Rubble low Retaining Wall
