Bellahouston Site Clearance & Prince and Princess of Wales Hospice Enabling Works

Description of Works

Caley Construction Ltd were appointed as Principal Contractor to carry out the Bellahouston Site Clearance Works by Glasgow City Council.

The project works involved site clearance of a current Glasgow City Council Bellahouston Park Plant Nursery complex, including the removal of anticipated asbestos material and the construction of new entrance to the walled allotment garden, together with the installation of street lighting.

Works included the demolition of buildings (brick and steel including removal of foundations), removal and disposal of commercial polytunnels, grubbing up and vegetation clearance, service disconnection and supply, street lighting installation, general site clearance including excavation in hard and recycling of hard material through crushing and planning.
